I have the bride's bouquet almost finished & Ashley loves it! I also showed her one of the bridesmaids & she loves them also! Whew what a relief! When I told her I would do this I didn't realize how worried I would be about doing it "right". I know that she & I have some of the same ideas but this is her day & I want it to be what she wants. We are doing the flowers in silk so that she can keep them as heirlooms if she wishes. It willl be something that carries a story with it when she pulls it out of a trunk someday. Her kids will ask what is that? & so begins the storytelling.

Wedding

Many of my Mary Jane sisters know that we are having a wedding in August! I hope to be able to show progress on it through here! I have started with the bride's silk flowers & am almost done. As soon as it is all finished I will post pictures! I hope these things will be treasured heirlooms for my daughter. Memories that she can carry with her after I am gone.
